30 Day Book Challenge: Day 30 - Your favorite book of all time
Persuasion by Jane Austen
I have already done a list of 5 books I couldn’t live without (which are obviously 5 of my absolute favorite books) and I have a Goodreads shelf dedicated to my favorite books. But, above all other books, I suppose I would have to choose Persuasion. I thought it was a good book when I first read it a few years ago. I recently reread the book and completely and utterly fell in love with it. It’s beautifully written, with more mature lead characters, and the plot is, of course, wonderful. Therefore, Persuasion gets the distinction of being my favorite book of all time.

30 Day Book Challenge: Day 17 - Favorite quote from your favorite book
“You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope. Tell me not that I am too late, that such precious feelings are gone for ever. I offer myself to you again with a heart even more your own than when you almost broke it, eight and a half years ago. Dare not say that a man forgets sooner than woman, that his love has an earlier death. I have loved none but you. Unjust I may have been, weak and resentful I have been, but never inconstant.”

30 Day Book Challenge: Day 10 - Favorite Classic Book
Persuasion by Jane Austen
I just adore this book. The language is beautiful, I love the characters (especially the fact that they are older and more mature), and the plot. Honestly, there is nothing about this book that I don’t absolutely love.

Just finished rereading. It’s just as beautiful the fifth time around.
